Audio Visual Information

All PowerPoint presentations should be formatted to a 16:9 format. To format your presentation in 16:9 format you will need to go into PowerPoint and select the “Design” tab and select the “Slide Size” drop down arrow and choose “Widescreen (16:9)” a width of 16 inches and a height of 9 inches. Session rooms will be equipped with LCD-Projection for PowerPoint presentations (or equivalent) from a single computer, which will be provided. Please note that individual laptop computers will not be allowed at the podium and the Presenter View feature is not available. We recommend that if you need your Presenter View notes that you print them in advance.

We understand that most Institutions have had to tighten their security measures. However, you will need to provide your presentations to Speaker Ready on a USB/portable drive or have it available somewhere you can download onto a USB prior to arriving to avoid backups/lines in this process (i.e. Dropbox or Google Drive). The audio/visual technician cannot download your presentation for you.

If you would like to format your slides on the PTS Slide Template, you may download the template by clicking here.

The Speaker Ready Room will be located in the Medford Room, at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront and open during the following hours:
Thursday, November 4 6:45 am - 3:45 pm
Friday, November 5 6:45 am - 5:15 pm
Saturday, November 6 7:00 am - 11:45 am
