Audio Visual Information

All PowerPoint presentations for this year should be formatted to a 16:9 format. To format your presentation in 16:9 format you will need to go into PowerPoint and select the "Design" tab and select the "Slide Size" drop down arrow and choose "Widescreen (16:9)" a width of 16 inches and a height of 9 inches. Session rooms will be equipped with LCD-Projection for PowerPoint presentations (or equivalent) from a single computer, which will be provided.

Please Note: Individual laptop computers will not be allowed at the podium and the Presenter View feature is not available. We recommend that if you need your Presenter View notes that you print them in advance.

ALL presentations must be turned into the Speaker Ready Room a minimum of two (2) hours prior to your scheduled talk, or the day prior if your talk is early in the morning, to be pre-loaded on the main computer. An audio/visual technician will be on-hand to assist you.

If you would like to format your slides on the PTS Slide Template we will have a slide template available for you shortly.

The Speaker Ready Room will be located in the Mt. Washington Room, at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel and open during the following hours:
Thursday, November 4 6:45 am - 4:00 pm
Friday, November 5 7:00 am - 5:15 pm
Saturday, November 6 7:30 am - 12:00 am


Presenting Author Information

Full Podium/Tepas/STN Paper Presentations
You will be allocated a maximum of 7 minutes for your presentation, followed by 3 minutes for open discussion.

Quick Shot Presentations
The format for Quick Shot Presentations is 4 minutes of presentation time followed by 2 minutes of discussion time, totaling 6 minutes for each paper. Your presentation should be limited to 5 slides, not including the title or disclosure slide.

Poster Competition
Posters should be prepared to be mounted on a 4 feet high by 8 feet wide provided poster board. We do not require the poster be this size, but it must fit on this size board.

Posters will be on display throughout the duration of the meeting and you will be expected to hang your poster up on Thursday, November 4th by 7:00 AM and take your poster down by the end of the Reception on Friday evening. The PTS will not be responsible for posters left hanging after the reception.

As a participant in the Poster Competition, it is MANDATORY for to be by your poster during the Reception on Friday, November 5th from 5:15 pm 6:15 pm to give a 3 minute presentation followed by a 2 minute open discussion. The winners of the Poster Competition will be announced on Saturday morning at 9:00 am.

Display Poster Presentation
